Miller Lite.
Although I used to drink hard liquor and mixed drinks exclusively. I got tired of throwing up and blacking out, though. Lately, I've really been enjoying wine. Yellowtail merlot, to be exact. I always thought I hated wine, because all I'd had in my entire life was when I was a teenager sneaking bottles out of the back of my parents' shelf of stuff my grandpa made. And it was nasty. In the last year, I've started drinking REAL wine and I'm pleasantly surprised by it and its buzz. I never realized it didn't all taste like paint thinner and that you don't need to shake it before you pour it. one margarita from there and i was drunk. i could drink them from other places all night without the same effect. it was weird

[Edited 12/21/07 21:25pm] wine's great. it's not something i drink for a buzz, because i always end up sleepy within an hour of drinking too much, and i wake up feeling like chapped ass. but a glass or two is a good treat and it mellows me out just enough. my favorite kind of red wine is beaujolais, cuz it's a red wine i can actually enjoy cold if i want (which i usually don't, but hey - who doesn't like having choices?). i tend to like white wine during the day. it's nice for writing. | |
