Ivy's daughter is FOUND: Thank you all for your prayers and well wishes.

At this point, I don't have many details, but I will post them when I get them.

She texted me about 40 minutes ago when I was on my way to work passing this news and a request that I pray for her daughter.

Seriously, please point your prayers/thoughts/whatever-you-do to Chicago today. Will update as soon as I get anything (and others probably will too, if they're in touch).

UPDATE 11/13: Aja didn't report to school. See below for whatever's newest, and I will update in between meetings at work today.

UPDATE AT 12:15 PST 11/13/07: Ivy's latest text reads: "They think they know where she is. My sister is headed there with the police. I'll update you in an hour."

Her daughter has been found.

She was a block or two away from home with someone that Ivy doesn't know. This girl she's been staying with has dropped out of school and lives with her mother who was well aware of Aja staying there. Ivy's sister is with Aja and the police now and Ivy is on her way home from work now to pick her up.

She's considering pressing kidnapping charges.

Ivy wants to thank everyone involved for their advice, thoughts and prayers and will have a message to send along quickly.

Thank God everyone's okay and this is over for now.

I just spoke to Ivy and she is understandably upset, however everything that can be done,is being done. This is not the first time that her daughter has pulled this and Ivy is convinced she is somewhere with friends.
