Well in the the resturants I go to nothing fancy like Red Lobster or Applebee's they automatically add the tip in on your bill! I've built a wall not to block anyone out, but to see who loves me enough to climb over it. | |

One time this waitress had the nerve to ask us if we wanted our change back, my sister and I was like  "you damn skippy we want our change back"!  I've built a wall not to block anyone out, but to see who loves me enough to climb over it. | |

If restaurants are going to make tipping compulsory, they might as well just build it into the menu prices. I'm getting sick of tipping. Many of the friends I had that were working as waiters and waitresses were clearing obscene amounts of money, in bars, and feeling a sense of entitlement to it, like if you didn't give 10 bucks for a 7 dollar drink, the customer was the jerk. I mean seriously. You looked at me, grabbed a bottle, and poured, and that's worth 3 bucks!? The ones who do get treated like crap, like those at mcdonalds, they're working their asses off in a bland, depressing building with complaining impatient customers, and they don't get tipped. I think the roles should be reversed. ugh. tipping. I always tip generously, but it's because I feel obliged to, not because I want to. I noticed this too. I tip when I'm being served food or drinks because I know that this is the way they make money. Then you have cab drivers, coat checkers, luggage dudes...ehhh it gets to be too much. As far as a convenience store or pharmacy or pizza place...PFFT!!! Eat me! I'm not too keen on 'Tips Please' jars and plates. I think you ought to earn your pay. What really irks me is when you see somebody on the till deliberatly looking at the tips jar when they haven't done anything to warrant a tip. I will give a tip to a waiter/waitress for sure if I've enjoyed their service. There's Joy In Expatriation. | |

If they look at the tip jar when I'm paying (kinda pushing the issue) I say "Here's your tip, are you ready?...Don't beg for money, it's not a good look on you." Generally speaking, you aren’t learning much when your lips are moving. | |

My cousin works there and I was like "wtf" when I went to go see her there. People tell her all of the time that someone could just drive off with it. I could've easily done it.....especially at night.....while she's working the drive-thru.  Nah.   Sleep long; sleep well, only to awake in hell. | |
