Our family cat died today!

Our cat died today. My mom just found him in the house, lying there. She hasn't told my dad yet cuz he's just going to be devastated. They were best of friends and he treated Jinx like he was one of the kids.
He was such a greedy thing too. Always meowing for more food. Don't blame him - my dad always fed him from the dinner table.

I'm so sad.
I'll miss ya, Jinx.

I inherited my sister's cats two days ago.
I feel so sorry for them. They're absolutely miserable without her. I'm trying everything I can to make them comfortable, but they're just not happy. The smallest cat is starting to warm up to me, but the largest cat just hides under one of our beds and doesn't ever come out. I don't even know if he's bothered to eat or drink.

They're so sensitive and dependent on their owners.

My cat Zulu is almost 17 years old, his brother Chaka passed a little over a year ago (he was 15).

Pets are family members, they will be missed.

I'm sorry, it's so sad to lose a pet that's been a good friend for so long.

I am so sorry, I feel bad for your father, its hard to lose a pet but when people are older it is even harder for them to deal with the grief.

He looks just like my boy,lucky who is almost 11.

I am sorry to hear about your cat passing away today.

Poor kitty...but I must say at the end of the day I'm hoping we just find our older cat dead someday instead of having to watch her waste and away or getting sick and having to put her down.

That was a really good looking cat. It sounds like you gave him a great life which is all you can do.
