congrats. I have identical twin boys that turned 12 october 12th. I had mine at 28 weeks and they wieghed 4 lbs TOGETHER so that is great!!! Now they are in huskys. have fun

They[re gorgeous. The one on the right looks like he gonna be the dominate one - I mean the way his has leg across his brother and his brother looks like he doesn't mind a bit.

we do not know if they are identical or not. there is a test we can take but it is about $200 and we have plenty of other medical bills to pay.

we have names but i am not going to post them as this site is googleable and we do not feel comfortable with that at this point.

I was hoping to dress something like Prince. toned down a bit like Prince if he was just going to the zoo or the supermarket... casual Prince!

yeah, i help! right now she is pumping and we are bottle feeding every 3 hours.
that is because they are preemies and their little mouths' still too small to latch on well enough, so when the nursed they were using more energy than they were getting out of the milk. so we have them on pumped B Milk with fortifier.


and we both change diapers... all the time... it is a circus but a FUN ONE!

You could save yourself $200 if you managed to see how many placentas there were. One placenta = definite monozygotes (identical) two placentas = still not sure.

what is funny is mothers of boy/girl twins say they still get asked "are they identical?"

Congrats! Children are a joy - I've got three (Melissa 18, Andres 10 and Alex 9). I wish you all the best in life! My boys were born fifteen months apart, and even though I never saw it, people would always ask me if they were twins!

yeah i did not know that either. but if the fertilized egg splits in two early enough then they can drift far enough apart to have 2 sacks and 2 placentas.
