first drinks..

when I was five or six (back in the early sixties) my grandfather used to let me taste his gin and tonics....and I'd keep asking for sips, because I didn't get a good tate with the last sip..do you remember your first taste of alcohol?

I don't remember the first time, but I do remember a couple times I would sip beer from my grandpa's or something...I didn't like it. Still don't, actually; I just don't like the way it tastes. lol

My grandfather used to work as a freight elevator operator in Detroit (God rest his soul) and he use to bring home those miniature bottles of alcohol from work and he let me taste one when I was probably about six years old-it was the worst tasting crap at that time. Hmmm hmmm Who knew it was some great stuff?

If the can label is not clear enough... Coors beer. Needless to say... we were taken into CPS custody.

The beer must of been all mine. disbelief

I retrieved this picture among many others later in life during a visit with my biological mother. I only have a few pictures during these first few years of life. Although I have a few memories that will last my lifetime.

Life, nevertheless is very positive and peaceful at this moment, I have made sure of it. ~Smile.

Also my mom used to give me a glass of wine when I couldn't get to sleep. She thought that was so "french" hahah.

I had my first drink at 19. My roomate bought White Zinfadel. She failed to tell me not to drink it with a straw

I got drunk and started singing Britney Spears songs.

I got drunk baby one more time a few months after that. Sang the whole Britney Spears catalog.

And I have not had a drink since. No longer a slave for you hmph!

I dont think I remember it, cos I was PISSED!!! lol

My parents took me and my brother to Poland in 1973 - I was 2 yrs old

There, we had big family dinners, with aunts, uncles, cousins, great aunts and uncles, brothers, sisters and parents areound the table.. a dinner which would last for hours, talking, drinking and eating.. it is a very social occasion - mealtimes there, just as it is with my family at home.

Anyway, the children were allowed to go off and play when they had finished their meal, whilst the elders ate on, relishing cheese, pickles, coffee, vodka and liqueurs

So little me got bored and wanted to know what was going on around the table.. so I asked my aunt if I could have a sip of drink..

she agreed, and gave me a tiny drink of what she had left in her glass..

I had gone to the next set of legs at the table and asked them the same, and they allowed me a taster of their drink..

This went on and on around the table, I was too small for anyone to notice, or anyone to notice I had been aroumnd the whole table..

They were deep in conversation and laughter until I interuppted everyone with my constant giggling, wobbly walk, and they all watched in surprise as I fell backwards into the sandpit in the garden, giggling non stop..

Nobody knew what was going on until one confessed they had only given me a tiny amount of wine.. and so the nexty person admitted, they just gave me a lil drink of vodka, the next, a bit of beer.. and so on.. everyone oblivious to the fact I had been around the whole table, and just thinking they were the only one I had come too..

lol

so yeah, I was first pissed out my head at two years old.. dancing jig
if sexy was a colour it would be red batting eyes
