you know i was reading about them looking for a cart for her, but I have only seen carts for dogs that are missing back legs, I wonder how a cart for her would work, she's have to push instead of pull? most of their power is in their hind legs... i think a doggie like her could live quite a potentially rich life.

hmm, I'm thinking of a roller skate cut in two, the two sides welded next to each other... maybe just two wheels at first for a puppy... that's sounds like a good idea. I'm not kidding - I think a deaf pet is the only type that would survive inside my household, and if somebody doesn't want to keep theirs I'd be glad to take it for myself. a friend of mine had a deaf dalmation... he was an AWESOME dog... i will be attending the DC/east coast org meetup the weekend of sept 25th, and so should you:

not sure how big she'll get, I checked the website and there's no mention of the size of terrier they think she's mixed with, the chihuaua at the biggest is what 10 lbs? also they don't fit them for the carts until they are 8 months old, that way the expense is only incurred once. they are fitting her with a harness to protect her chest, I am guessing she's getting around very well We all should know that diversity makes for a rich tapestry, and we must understand that all the threads of the tapestry are equal in value no matter what their color.
