Page 45 is a break between chapters so I went with the next closest page of text, p. 47:

"Outide the shrine a blackbird sings in dark purples."

That ties into my life in the sense that I haven't yet had a chance to read this book and it is haunting me like a blackbird singing outside a shrine.

But for now, something simpler possessed his heart, something bright and hard and unshakeable: vengeance.
