When I got back from the L.A. Invasion I learned that my best friend was having severe headaches. My other friend and I stayed with him a couple of evenings. He wouldn't go to the hospital. He also had a fever, bodyaches, etc. We ended up calling the ambulance.

He's in the hospital now. They say, although it's not confirmed yet, that he has a spot on his brain and one on one of his lungs. They say it's Cancer. I'm trying to hold it together. It's hard. We are all taking turns watching him.

He is my "bestest" friend.

Please pray for him.

***Here's an update.

I spent some of the day with him today. A doctor had not come to talk to him until 3-4pm when I wasn't there. They said that it probably isn't CANCER. He has an infection in his lung and brain. They think that's what showed up on his x-ray. I was pissed. Although I know that doctors aren't God, they could only go by what they know. I just wish that they hadn't jumped the gun. They DO think that he might have MENINGITIS. They haven't verified that yet though. Unfortunately they are going to have to start me and my friend on antibiotics since we were there helping him. It's not airborn, thank God. If spittle or fluid from his body would have touched us we might have been exposed. None of that happened BUT they still haven't even confirmed that. We're just waiting.

***Here's a second update.

They have ruled out MENINGITIS and HIV. Now I think they can start treatment. He DOES have Cancer though. It's in his brain and one of his lungs. They think he may have it in either his gall bladder and/or his kidneys. We're just trying to hang in here.

Two days ago a co-worker friend of mine had a stomach ache. Since we all work in medical imaging, she went to the ultrasound tech to have him look at her gallbladder.

She has a 20mm mass going from ovary to distal tip of sternum. She's now in the hospital awaiting surgery to remove it and see if it is malignant.
