I hear ya, I'm 42 years old, and I HATE wearing bras! I only wear them when I HAVE to (mostly for work or when I get dressed up). Whoever invented them should be shot!

In answer to the original question, I never wear underwire, because they dig into my skin and are uncomfortable as hell. Soft cup for me all the way.

I too hate bras.....burn them now!. I hate when it's cold though, I feel I have to wear them or else I'll get nippage.

I can't NOT wear underwire, soft cup wouldn't hold me up. And I'm very particular.
As for the saggage, I have noticed they aren't as perky as they once were. But I still get complimented on the shape on the rare occasions I go without a bra, so I'm hopefully good for a while yet.
