WHY DO YOU COME HERE?...

....something I've just read made me ponder why it is we all come to the org

for me I'll be honest it's an escape in a way...I live by myself and hardly see friends and relatives because they're all away from Sydney so my colleague and friend Jo and you guys are the one's who I 'see' the most. That could be seen as taking the org more serious than a lot of people are comfortable with, but that's just me...I'm a serious type of gal

so why do YOU all come here?

to meet... and read what interesting people like you ...say

Seriously, mainly when I'm bored, downloading music or ripping dvds and to laugh at the threads, and to occasionaly talk with the few internet enigmas that I like.

Nothing more.

It's amazing how "Prince" is, like, not even close to why I come here.

For attention.

To kill time, and for amusement.

I come here to escape from work, for a few minutes each day....OK, OK, a few HOURS a day


I'm not interested in talking to people about Prince or politics or any of that....I just find it's nice to make contact with human beings each day (as opposed to our customers - they don't count!)


I can say with no trace of irony that I have 'met' some great people on the Org in the short time I have been using it, people who have restored my faith in human nature.


I am a recovering cynic and I haven't bitched about a fellow human being today. (One step at a time, but I'm getting there)
