Site will be down for maintenance Sunday night
All:
Sometime Sunday night (I’m not exactly sure when I’ll get around to this, but probably after 9PM Pacific time), I will be taking the org down for a little while for database maintenance, and one of the critical steps towards moving the site to new (faster!) server. I expect the downtime to only be about an hour. I will try to have a “maintenance” page up during the process, as well.
If all goes well, within a week or so we should be all migrated to the new machine, however, which I think will be a noticeable speed improvement, so it’s all for a good cause!

If I were to design you the new site designs I emailed you in CSS format, would you be willing to implement them, and a couple of the new technology elements they’d require (mainly for orgpops to become javascript chat windows a la Google Talk)?

The site will be down on Sunday night? Not sure how I’ll survive this:).. but I can’t wait to see the Org’s brand new self!
I hope though, that it won’t be ‘too high tech’ for my Soviet-era phone line/Net infrastructure here in Moscow:)…
