Announcing the prince.org staff blog!
Hi everyone–we’ve decided to add a ‘blog’ section to prince.org, and lo and behold, you’re reading it right now
This is a bit of an experiment, but I thought it’d be a useful way for us (the staff) to communicate with everyone about changes on the site, in policy, or other random announcements and items of interest. I am not sure how often we’ll post–I kind of assume, not terribly frequently, but hopefully what we do post will be of interest to everyone and you won’t have to wade through a bunch of topics in the ‘prince.org site forum’ to find it. We might even use this in place of stickies, to some extent, which I’m sure would be welcome by many folks.
So… watch this space for more! And don’t forget to subscribe to our RSS feed(s) for the blog (there’s also one on the homepage for the latest news,) to stay up-to-date when you’re not visiting prince.org (as if you could ever go a day without that
)!

I didn’t mean to sound mad or indifferent. I do appreciate the changes and the search function is appriciated too. I was trying to say that I”ll need to get used to the changes. I didn’t intend to sound mean or mad or be an asshole, but that’s what happened…sorry…

je parle francaise ‘un peu’, so i will be civilized and not use my native tongue.
This is the or was the nicest web site in the year 2000 before the Y2K bug
choked on the decimal point laugh out loud if you desire, but you are required
to count the year 2000 twice in order not to be confused by the computer
glitch every time you look at something on the internet that was in fact
created in 1967 by a team or scientists at MIT. And not the other way around.
So, it is the year 2007 and tomorrow it becomes August the first. Wait until
the year 2010 on January first at twelve oclock noon. There will begin an
era of Harmony at that time. Not before. So go ahead and ridicule me, and
Prince Rogers Nelson, Jr. and everyone else on Gods Green Earth. It will not
hurt me. Be Nice. Do not run. Stop fighting. Stop killing. THOU SHALT NOT
KILL, MAKE A JOYFUL NOISE UNTO THE LORD WITH ALL YOUR HEART.
OPEN THE POD BAY DOORS, PLEASE HAL. Good day.

i like the blog…find the links in all the posts a bit annoying. you need to be aware that once you start accepting revenues by ads (and even “donations”) you are no longer considered a nonprofit website. for all intents and purposes, you are now considered a commercial site. Just a little legal tip to ya that may be good to know in the futre (wink).

Can’t believe the changes and development this site has gone through over the years. Must be hard work, though I bet it’s a lot of fun too. It is for me. I’ve never felt as connected to the world of Prince as I have since I’ve joined The Org. What a great project, what a great artist.
August 9th, 2007 at 10:10 pm
Since coming back to my home, I’ve really enjoyed the new updates and improvements. This is what definitely makes this site stand out from the rest aside from the interesting people that I’ve met throughout the years.

Yesterday,
oh…wait….I think I just found it….
I was watching the Dr. Phil program,
and on this particular show,
he was explaining what a parent should do when their child approaches them with their first sexual question. He also stated that it was considered quite natural for one of such immature curiosity to want to explore one’s own body.
Which is what I’m doing to myself right now.
So is this anywhere near to explaining what a “blog” is?
Cause, I’m still not exactly sure what…
and I must say…..
it’s big……
…..and funky!
