I think that would be cool. How about if he closed the show with that? I think that would be great!

Cool idea; the music is epic and the lyrics are still relevant, considering how fucked up things are in America, specially during these awful 2007-2010 years...

Beginning or end I think.

Either way it'll be very appropriate.

I think it will be the 3rd song. People will expect him to open with it so of course he won't.

Good idea, anything would be better than to hear him open yet again with that lame song "Let's Go Crazy".

By the way, I wouldn't mind if he would just play his OWN damn songs for a change, the guy has so much great songs!

It would be awesome. I think it has always been an under appreciated gem.

I could definitely see why the song has never took off. The lyrics are pointed and the music kinda moody. Not the typical radio friendly or party fare. But awesome none the less.

My 9 year old sister loves that song. I was playing that one day, and she asked me to turn it up. She caught on after a lil bit and sang around the house "America, america, set the children free".

America is one of my all time favourite Prince tracks (so far) and I would die to see him perform that these days. Wish the guy would release his performances to us, I love seeing everything.

It'd be an amazing opener for these shows

I agree! I know it's not 1985 and 86 but, him doing that will be on point!
