Don't get me wrong, I am the biggest Mayte fan around but she needs to stop taking her clothes off. Maybe it's a hollywood thing that I don't understand, but she is so beautiful - why does she always do these shoots in skimpy bikini's or underwear shots, or like the one where she is topless and covering her breasts with her hands?

She is so beautiful and can look really really classy .. but taking her clothes off on almost every shoot is ... well, not very tasteful. She would look stunning even if she dressed like an eskimo. Mayte I hope you read this - you have a fabulous body but you don't need to show it on every occasion.

First off.... Kudos for her looking like that post baby after 35.

I need to say that these are PROFESSIONAL photos. I've seen Mayte's candid shot and she does NOT dress like this on the go.

These pics are meant to cater towards a certain demographic, sex and youth sells in the fashion/entertainment industry. So, she has to wear what the designer is trying to promote. If these are pics for her agency, then she needs to market herself in this way if she is a model for mens ads and fitness mags.

If she were a hair model she would only do head shots and hair shots... but she is selling her body, so skimpy clothing is a must. In the fashion industry it is a norm to see nipples on a runway, so its no biggie to show skin. She has a different mindset when on the job, even with the belly dancing as well, costumes tend to show skin, more so now than ever before.

So from a artistic perspective, she is on the mark with clothing choice. If she were caught wearing this in the grocery store, then I could say she needs to cover up.

Look at the pictures.. its like the angle of the light.. aimed downward shows too many shadows on her pretty smooth skin.

And curves photographed in this type of lighting would amplify any slight curve with harsh shadows.

You don't see that? Mayte has gorgeuos skin, but these photos amplify her laugh lines and ribcage a liitle too much.

I was specific... you just didn't understand what I was saying because you jumped to a conclusion that wasn't even there. No where did I say that I didn't like her body or big women, I did only mention lighting and its harsh effects in these shots.

Brihht. I thought the same thing. When you van see every rib that is a little too lean.

Its the bad lighting... it accentuates every curve/lump/bump. She is not this boney IRL even her recent belly dance DVD you can see the muscle, she is not a rack of bones. These photos make her appear that way though.
