Recently everyone has been saying how much 20ten was a return to form. However i've always felt Lotusflower and Mplsound are superior, although i think the albums would have been better as one double album.

I recently put together a Lotusflower double album with the best tracks from the Lotusflower and Mplsound albums. For me in this form it's makes for an amazing album, Tell me what you think? Do you have your own tracklisting.

Just because i think the album falls into the usual 'lack of quality control' prince tends to display. There are some amazing tracks on that album, but i feel it would have been better if the best bits were incorporated with the best of Mplsound. Just my own opinion.

I think you're on to something here. I do like the Lotusflower, but didn't really appreciate it so much as a 3disc set. So that arrangement might be cool..I'm going to make a playlist of it in this order and see if it makes me like it more than 20Ten...b/c I LOVE 20Ten!!

And btw, don't let the haters get you down!! Share your ideas, that's what this place is for!

I like my Lotus as it's creator intended it.

Perhaps you could look at a quality control (single) disc between MPLSound and 20TEN.

There should be an org rule requiring anyone who exclude Wall of Berlin from any discussion of the quality of LotusFlower to post their street address.

I play this probally more than any Prince cd. No tracks from 20ten made it as there is not anything I like on that one. MPLS either. I don't really care for that style of music whatever you call that style. I guess its R&B. The Pop and Rock stuff is what I like and really dig this cd

In my opinion, MPLSound could have stayed in the vault for a loooooong time.

A few tracks on the Lotusflow3r disc would have been great.

I have two, no idea why, because i will never play them. I bought one for the collection, and a few weeks later i noticed one going for a really cheap price, so i bought that too.
