I am going to speculate right now that his next album will be called 20Eleven and the one after 20Twelve. It is just something he would do, a nice countdown to whatever the hell is supposed to happen on that date.

I think he has been dropping hints a long time, but in regards to 3121 itself, those numbers are eerily similar to 12/21/12, lets break the numbers down for a second. As you will see 3121 can be directly translated into the end date of the Mayan Calendar.

3121 = 12/21/12

3 - designates (3 numbers in a date)
3121 - December
3121 - 21st day

3121 - 2012

He could have chose any damn number, knowing that Prince is aware of this date, to be a coincidence is highly unlikely.

Again, this is just my interpretation of how I see it based on what I have learned about that date, the knowledge that Prince embraces certain new age, metaphysical concepts, and how a parallel can be drawn to some of his music/lyrics.

PS As a side note, how many have listened to the song Family Name, and wondered what Prince is talking about when he mentions, the Akashic Records? This is not a record company as one might quickly think while hearing the song. Look up on google what this is, then listen to that part of the song again, it shows that Prince is into some very far out concepts, so the 3121 parallel to the Mayan Calendar would not be a stretch for him. Heck, listen to The War for that matter.

"Contrary to popular belief, Heaven is Keeping Score" I believe this is another direct reference to the Akashic Records, you will see how those lyrics apply once you understand what the Akashic Records are, pretty interesting stuff!

i agree his numbers are definitely coded, but i'm not sure if he intends it the way we interpret it.

i agree that 2012 is a shift in dimensions as you stated above, but i also think it is a personal event, and does not necessarily align with time or a calander.

anyone can make the shift to the new dimension any time they are ready, no matter what the date.

I agree with the overall idea of 3121 talking about a shift in consciousness, awakening to the Truth, etc... but I've seen a lot of other theories about why Prince chose that number that to me make a lot more sense (most of them being Bible references, rather than dates, which would seem more in line with where he was at with his spiritual journey at the time).

Personally, I wouldn't call the formula you've suggested a direct correlation, but I do like that it remains open to interpretation and if that what works for you, that's cool.

Exactly, the address was his creation, not an actual address, which backs up my theory that he had something in mind with those numbers.

Prince created the address himself, surely one can see the significance of that. The "omg it is just an address" theory holds no water.

Every number of the Mayan Calendar end date exists within the numbers 3121 12/21/12 - this is beyond coincidence. Of all the numbers he could have magically chosen for this address, what are the chances of this matching up? It was by design, that is irrefutable.
