Don't Play Me is pretty bland and gets repetitive rather quickly.

Shy could be considered bland, but I like it. Come On and She Loves Me 4 Me seem bland to me too.

Bland? NEVER! Act of GOD is a funky, cool song, one of the best off the ablum, and well, Call My Name is just AMAZING!!! Listen to it at least 10x a day!! Far from bland!!

I never said I didn't like it . . . the question posted was about what I considered "bland". I actually do like the song and the remixes, especially the Hypermix, but the album version is a bit repetitive and monotonous -- pretty sure that's intentional.

IMO "bland" is either sounding monotone (either in voice or instrumentation, which Come On definitely fits both bills) or -- God forbid -- sounding generic, which Come On definitely does NOT.

There are other songs on New Power Soul that are horrible . . . but they're not bland.

Total crap tune. No funk in Come On. 1.5/10, as is the whole Come album, that's when his funkmeter reached the 0-point.
