I love his voice on Love Thy Will Be Done also the layered vocals during the song. Perfect. Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!

It has to be The Cross, the passion and clarity of expression are perfect. It's pure and heartfelt at the same time. It's easy to get caught up in the atmospheric melodies of Prince's music and think 'yeah, great vocal', when really it's a great package, but with Cross, take away the pretty sounds and the voice still carries it. Loved the live vocal on 1000 hugs and kisses at the O2 as well. Prince and a piano = near heaven for 3 minutes. I'm looking out for a purple dolphin. | |
