maaaaan, u gotta get the old T-Neck Releases..The Isleys recorded for T-Neck from 1965-1983 i believe... but T-neckwas the Isley's Record Label. atOne point in 96-97 T-neck was Dist through PolyGram. but u should dig up on the Past Isley's albums.

I concur with the Realfiness...you want to be schooled on the Isley Bros., pick up the T-Neck releases...The Bros. at their best...Between The Sheets, Harvest For The World, Fight The Power, That Lady, For The Love Of You, Summer Breeze, and that is just of the top of my head (and it is early in the morning.) <--That's a Gap Band song, they're jammin' also...Like I said, it's early.

Peace, Serveitupfrankie*

Personally, I'm more partial to the Isley's during their 70's T-Neck days with Chris Jasper. Especially these albums.

Harvest For The World

The Heat Is On

and...

Go For Your Guns

thumbs up!

Great choices, but I would also add 1978's Showdown.

to put it plainly, the isleys at the top of their game is some the best muthafuckin' music you ever heard... these guys are truly some of the most important musicians of the rock era... remember, the beatles broke it open with "twist and shout" and they learned that song from the isleys... can't nobody fuck with the isleys...
