Watched pt. 1 of this and I've enjoyed the Truth in Rhythm podacst for sometime. The host has had some really great interviews/conversations and I've always liked his "conversational" style of doing his episodes- puts the artists a ease while making them feel appreciated but also encourages them to drop some anecdotes and knowledge. Sly Stone fans should check out the one that he did with Rustee Allen along with all of the other Prince-associated artists over the years.

I found this one interesting as it was with a "protege" instead of a band member so the perspective and stories were different. JJ's still salty over how everything went down but seemes to accept that she's also bears some blame for why her Prince-career didn't turn out the way that she wanted.

I'm glad that she's come to terms with the fact that she's a flop.
